I called Cheap John's, because my basement flooded, and they were out within hours, when they arrived the Tech was very, very, professional and friendly , and took the time to explain everything, and helped me to understand what the problem was. They had to come out twice but both times the guys were wonderful. I really want to thank the plumber that came out the second time, which he was a feild supervisor, he really explained everything and gave me info that i didnt get the first time, im glad he gave me his card, i will definatlly recommend him and will be calling him in the future to complete my work that needs to be finished. Thanks

Thanks so much to the receptionist at Cheap John's for recognizing I needed assistance so quickly. And to the repair technician who responded before my basement was flooded. I am so appreciative. They were great and I would never hesitate to call them again or refer them to friends!

"Cheap John's Plumbers 03/02/2011" came to our home because of a serious backup problem that caused major flooding throughout our entire home (both main floor and basement). Eddie, our service man, came out right away, quickly fixing our problem within a matter of minutes, not only informing us as to how the problem started but as to what kind of shape our plumbing was in (which was much better than we thought). Ed was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and quite professional - even coming in under what was initially quoted over the phone. If we ever find ourselves in need of a plumber again, we will call Cheap John's Plumbing and ask for Ed to come out. I must add that we had contacted several plumbing companies around Queens before deciding on Cheap John's because they were also "so" incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional (not to mention patient) amidst my frantic phone call about our leak!

Cheap John's Sewer Service--July-28-09 When our sewer backed-up began leaking in the basement, I called cheap john's. The man who answered the phone immediately knew who I was and knew when my last rooter service call was made....and that was 6 years ago!!! In less than an hour, a technician was at my house and had a fixed my sewer line for us. He was very friendly and did a quick, efficient job.

Sep 16, 2010 I called about a clogged drain and they were there in less than an hour. They had my drain unclogged in minutes. The whole experience lasted less that an hour and a half. Very happy.

Excellent service and very honest. Another plumber had come the day before to snake the sewer line of debris that was affecting drainage after a large storm. We were told it was "absolutely" a broken sewer pipe and it would be a minimum of $6,000. to excavate and replace a 20 foot section of pipe, no other option was offered. I called Cheap John's for a second opinion and based on John's assessment he recommended the Water Jetting process to better clear the pipes of blockages, followed by a more effective snaking of the remaining roots. It worked like a charm, the pipes were never broken as I'd been originally told, no excavation was necessary, and Cheap John's cost was a fraction of what the original plumber quoted. If ever you have a sewer problem, call John. He is truly a specialist and he is not out to rip people off. I would recommend him without hesitation. And if anyone says your pipes are broken, unless it is visibly apparent to you, call John for an assessment.

Sep 21, 2010 I had called them on a simple plugged drain issue which upon further inspection could have led to a nightmare in the long term. They inspected everything gave me a few options. It was a great job, priced reasonably, and they were in and out very quickly. I highly recommend them.

Sep 16, 2010 I came down to do the laundry and found that the sewer pipe was backed up into the utility sink. Cheap John's was there within one hour. The pipe was unclotgged and the technician gave me advice to avoid future problems

The service man at cheap johns were great. John was very helpful and knowledgeable. My drain was clogged and john did a great job of fixing it. And only paid $50 and they were very clean as well.
