Beware that Coach Skyline is NOT a charter bus company -they are a broker. I contracted four buses for $3,800 ($950 each) and ended up with buses from three different companies. One bus was smaller than contracted, had an inoperative DVD player, and the toilet lacked paper towels, soap/hand sanitizer, and even running water in the sink. The second bus had an inoperative DVD player. The third bus was fine. The fourth bus was outrageous! It was an Angeles Tours coach which I later determined was not a licensed "passenger carrier" per the California Public Utilities Commission. The bus arrived an hour late, had in inoperative DVD and at least one excessively worn tire. The A/C was inadequate and did not ventialte the bus past the halfway point back and the rear half of the bus reeked of exhaust fumes. The toilet had no ventilation at all and was 100+ degrees with the sickening stench of exhaust. The toilet itself had no paper towels, toilet paper, soap/hand sanitzer or running water in either the sink or the toilet (which had been defecated in). It was by far the worst and most sickening travel experience I have ever had. Through the carriers they work with, Coach Skyline got it right with just one of four buses they sent me - that's just 25%, a failing grade anywhere. There "fix" was to offer me a $150 refund (a paltry 4%), a 15% discount on future charters (yeah, right!), and their assurance that the "highest quality standards will be met in the future" (why wasn't this done BEFORE Coach Skyline sent us these buses?).

Coach Skyline completely failed in the task they were hired for and then lied to try to cover it up. I hired them to provide transportation for a wedding. I told their sales representative that the shuttle was to run in a continuous loop for an hour to transport guests from a hotel to the wedding site, a 10 minute trip. This was clearly spelled out in the contract and in the instructions for the driver. Instead, the driver made one trip with 4 passengers and then disappeared, stranding about 20 guests who were counting on later shuttle departures. They had to scramble to find alternate ways to get to the wedding, and the ceremony was delayed. This was incredibly embarassing and would have ruined the wedding were it not for the resourcefulness of the guests. Later, I asked Coach Skyline for a refund. They refused, saying that the driver had made multiple trips, but found nobody waiting on the later ones. This is clearly a lie as several independent groups of guests said they had been in the designated spot for close to an hour without seeing a shuttle. This is unacceptable behavior for any company, and I strongly recommend against hiring Coach Skyline.
