"After five classes, I can honestly say these workouts are incredible. Very high energy, yet doable! The first 15 minutes is a "warmup" starting with a jog, sometimes adding high knees and butt kicks. Still in the warmup, we do lots of exercises focusing on arms, legs, and abs, but we have yet to do the same workouts twice! After warmup, comes the stretching- exactly what it sounds like. Then five bag rounds. Your first time, an instructor walks you through every single type of punch or kick you need to know to survive in a class all by yourself! After your first class, bag rounds are combinations of different types of kicks and punches. Then we do some sort of speed round, and finally, some sort of partner drills! My first day I was completely out of breath and wasn't sure this was for me... But I've only been 5 times now, and I can keep up! What a great stress reliever! I have so much more energy now than I did just a week ago. The instructors are so welcoming and great at teaching even those of us who never tried kickboxing before. Thanks, ilovekickboxing.com!"
