"I recently lost my hair due to chemo therapy. On 12/18 I purchased a wig ($613.00) from Feke Wigs. Per the owners advice I paid extra shipping to have it by Christmas. When it arrived on Friday, her shop closed at 5:00 making it impossible for me to pick it up. The shop was also closed on Saturday. Her reaction "you'll have to pick it up after Christmas". When I picked it up after Christmas, the color did not match what we had agreed upon and I requested a refund. She became angry, told me there were "No refunds". I reminded her that I did not leave her store with merchandise and that legally, she had been utilizing my money since 12/18 when she charged my card - it was now 12/26. She became angrier, screamed the following "I'll give you a credit but don't ever come in my store again". As a follow up, I contacted VISA who indicated I had every right to request the refund and that she acted inappropriately. Please think twice before going to this store especially if you are in a vulnerable state as I was. There are so many other stores/resources who will deal with you compassionately and actually understand your plight. Try Wendy Wigs, Livionia, Dennis Todd Salon in Plymouth, SJMH has a great wig shop, and Fran Coy in Ann Arbor. Stay away from Brighton!!!!"
