SEPTEMBER 25, 2023 UPDATE DO NOT BUY HERE, TOTAL FRAUD. I WAS OFFERED A PARTIAL REFUND FOR THE CAR AND AGREED TO PICKUP CHECK ON SATURDAY. I WAS NOTIFIED ON SATURDAY THAT NO CHECK WAS MADE AND IT WAS MEANT TO BE SENT TODAY. THEY NO LONGER PICK UP MY PHONE CALLS. NO TRACKING NUMBER HAS BEEN MADE. I HAVE COMPLIED WITH EVERYTHING THEY HAVE ASKED FOR. I WILL TAKE THIS TO COURT AND THE BBB. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 UPDATE CHEVY CRUZE 2018 IS A LEMON. THEY VALUED MORE MY DOWN PAYMENT, THAN THIER REPUTATION… THEIR VEHICLES WILL PRESENT LEAKS IN LESS THAN A WEEK. DO NOT BUY HERE! THEY WILL FRAME YOU WITH BAD CARS AND DOUBTFUL CREDIT PROVIDERS. TE ENGANAN CON CREDITOS FALSOS, "CANCELAN" TU COMPRA CULPANDO AL BANCO Y TE DEJAN SIN CARRO Y SIN DINERO. ——————————————————————— SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 I bought my first car in the US with Dan and New Wave Auto Sales, I managed to save a down payment with so much effort since I had to restart my life from 0. 5 days after my purchase, I recieved a message from Dan saying that they had issues with the lender, and they were canceling my purchase, even though I have signed contracts with all parties in my power. Simultanously, that same day, oil starts leaking like crazy from the oil filter area.... And still want me to return the car today despite having a huge oil leak, with out fulling acknowledging the issue with the car nor my signed contracts. Im towing the car today back to them as an honest man, with great worry for my 4000 dollar down payment, the costs of traveling 2 hours to the dealership for errors comitted on their part, and with the chance of loosing it all. Just to put it out strait, they do not respect signed contracts, nor sell reliable cars. I shall return the car as an honest man, and see what happends. What ever the outcome, good or bad for me, I shall come back to post it so all you kind people re-consider your future purchase. For the time being, today September 15, 2023, I do not recomend doing bussiness here.

I bought my first car in the US with Dan and New Wave Auto Sales, I managed to save a down payment with so much effort since I had to restart my life from 0.

5 days after my purchase, I recieved a message from Dan saying that they had issues with the lender, and they were canceling my purchase, even though I have signed contracts with all parties in my power.

Simultanously, that same day, oil starts leaking like crazy from the oil filter area.... And still want me to return the car today despite having a huge oil leak, with out fulling acknowledging the issue with the car nor my signed contracts.

Im towing the car today back to them as an honest man, with great worry for my 4000 dollar down payment, the costs of traveling 2 hours to the dealership for errors comitted on their part, and with the chance of loosing it all.

Just to put it out strait, they do not respect signed contracts, nor sell reliable cars.

I shall return the car as an honest man, and see what happends. What ever the outcome, good or bad for me, I shall come back to post it so all you kind people re-consider your future purchase.

I feel the need to share my issue with this business. Below is what I have posted as a Google review on the internet. I share as a warning to prevent others from possibly having the same experience.

I deleted my previous comment Dan asked me to write, after the car sold to me had an issue I was not made aware of. I bought a car July. Found out it was due for an oil change. Took it in 9/2. The mechanic shows me a leak in the transmission and struts are worn. I was told not to drive the car far, so I canceled plans w/family in the Bay that day. Now, I did not have someone look at the car before I bought it, I was wrong to assume I would only have to do that if I bought a car on the street. I did learn a lesson. However, I am holding New wave Auto sales accountable also. I let Dan know what the tech discovered. Dan said he would've never sold the car to me in that condition if he knew. He says the repair shop they take their cars to, missed it. Dan asks me to take it to a place in Lodi for inspection. I said I was told not to drive it far. He says he wants to help me, and he feels bad, and he remembers what it's like being a single parent, etc. basically leads me to believe he truly wants to help fix this issue. He tells me Fri, that Tues he will see about arranging a tow (since it was Labor Day weekend ) Tues, no phone call. Wed. He finally responds to me with a text. He asks me to take it to Lodi AGAIN because he says he cannot tow it. I asked Dan to call me, I knew he was stalling. Dan said he'd call after finishing with a customer, but never did. Ernie, his boss calls the next day. Ernie says they will not pay for a tow and will not help with the repair since I bought it without warranty. I even asked Ernie, that if I found a way to tow it out there, if they would fix the issue, and Ernie said no, only that a discount would be given to me for the cost to fix it. Unbelievable!!! Dan and Ernie could have done something, anything, to help me out, especially since I was told it should Not have been sold to me in that condition (Dan admitted this!!!). I know I was taken advantaged of. As a mom, I trusted to get a reliable vehicle from this dealership to transport my 4 kids to and from. Im telling the world about my experience, and exposing their character. Buyer Beware! Should they step up, and do what's right, I will amend this complaint.
