About Brett Barlow, MD

Dr. Brett Barlow joined the Clearview Cancer Institute team in August 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Medical Sciences from Mississippi College and received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Barlow continued his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency before completing his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Dr. Barlow grew up in a small Mississippi town. He is married and has four children and enjoys woodworking. Dr. Barlow serves our Shoals location.

Dress in layers such as sweaters or jackets which may be removed if you become warm or put on if you become cold. Also, wear front button shirts if you have a central venous catheter (port) which needs to be used for your treatment.
Yes, you may bring in your own food; however, please avoid bringing foods with strong odors into the infusion area. Some patients may be sensitive to strong odors while undergoing treatment. Our patients are offered small snacks and beverages at no charge from our hospitality cart that is staffed by our volunteers.
