1. Eco-Friendly Design
As concern for environment continues to rise, so will the demand for Eco-Friendly Design. Natural light, live greenery, and impact-reducing furniture are fundamental for the health-conscious lifestyle. This year, more and more people will invest in low or no VOC paint, organic upholstery, solid wood furniture, and rugs made from natural fibers, as they come to realize that a happy home is a healthy one.

2. Metal Materials
According to New York designer, Julia Haney-Montanez, “Welders are the new rock stars.” Straight, simple, yet decidedly interesting, this year’s metal furnishings are an updated take on an age old tradition.
